How to create a strong password you can remember

Following on from our last post, lets talk about how to create a strong password. Well, actually, let's look at how to create a strong password that's going to be easy to remember. This article on howtogeek.com is a great guide, looking at a couple of different ways to make a strong password. They cover off the usual recommendations for creating a password: have 12 characters minimum, include upper & lowercase characters, number & symbols, and don't use dictionary words. However they also look at 2 other methods, ones that are still giving you strong passwords but are much easier to remember. One method is using the first letter of every word in a sentence (including punctuation). The other method is the Passphrase / Diceware method, which relates to the comic at the top of this post.
